A major brand modernization for the nation’s leader in traffic control solutions
Area Wide Protective (AWP) was looking for a modernization of their logo which, upon engaging RA, was made up of multiple colors, fonts, font styles, and icons. It was dated and difficult to work with in all the applications needed.
A strong new brand was born, showcasing the reason for AWP’s existence: the road.
The orange and gray color palette is in homage to the colors of traffic; orange barrels and the open road. The new brand was documented in a robust style guide for the in-house marketing department, and executed in a suite of templates for ongoing development of brochures, emails, flyers, and more.
Bold lettering and strong, flat graphics make for easy legibility in all applications, including apparel (worn by all safety workers), on vehicles, in print, online, and on promotional products.
