Dave Rosenberg
January 27, 1955 — April 13, 2024
Dave Rosenberg founded Rosenberg Advertising in 1981. What began as an advertising agency specializing in newspaper ads and serving local family-owned retail chains grew into what is now considered one of the most reliable and accomplished full-service marketing and advertising firms in the region, and serves businesses in the B2B, retail, manufacturing, and professional services industries.
Dave’s career spanned five decades and was built on honesty, hard work, creative thinking, and solid relationships. Hundreds of businesses have seen great success from his strategic mind and willingness to listen first, then act. Despite his own overwhelming success, Dave always remained a humble and empathetic leader who cared deeply about his team and the clients they served. It is those values he instilled in his son, Austin Rosenberg, and longtime mentee, Melissa Sattler, who own and run the business today.
Dave enjoyed the last 12 years of his life as a Floridian with his wife, Robin. He spent his time mentoring small business owners, playing pickleball, golf, bike riding, and watching almost every Browns, Guardians, and Cavs game. He put his leadership skills to good use as the President of the St. Augustine Browns Backers Club, founder of the Traveling Mulligans golf group (now Rosenberg Mulligans), and member of the Traveling Derailleurs bike riding club.
More than anything, Dave enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his two granddaughters, Lydia and Audrey.
Dave passed away suddenly in April 2024 and every day since we have felt his absence.
Dave had a positive impact on everyone he ever met. His spirit is, and always will be, the heart and soul of our agency.
