Coloring and Activity Book to Teach Children to Save

First Federal Lakewood’s coloring and activity book has become an annual project in support of “Teach Children to Save Day,” which takes place during Financial Literacy Month each April.

Each book has had a different theme, and this year’s was woodland animals “saving up” for the winter. We used fun, whimsical artwork to appeal to and engage children.

The book's activities introduce kids to savings and banking concepts in an interesting and interactive way. The booklet also gives kids something to do while their parents visit a branch to do their own banking!

There is also a page that can be colored and returned to First Federal Lakewood to open a child's first savings account. First Federal Lakewood will deposit $25 to get the child started on their savings journey!
