Social Media Giveaways for Mutual Bank
First Federal Lakewood is a mutual bank headquartered in Lakewood, Ohio with locations throughout Northeast Ohio and Columbus. As a community bank, First Federal Lakewood is committed to giving back. Part of that includes giveaways to residents of the communities they serve. We partnered with a local influencer, Cleveland Moms, for two giveaways in Instagram designed to increase brand awareness and grow the First Federal Lakewood Instagram following among a target audience for the bank.
To enter, participants were asked to follow both the First Federal Lakewood account and the Cleveland Moms account, like and save the post, and tag a friend who would be interested in the giveaway. There were also opportunities for bonus entries including joining the First Federal Lakewood email list and sharing the post on stories.
The first, "Ultimate Family Giveaway" was a Cleveland Children’s Museum membership, a Cleveland Metroparks Zoo membership, and a Cleveland Museum of Natural History membership — all to one lucky winner. As a result, First Federal Lakewood saw a 58.6% growth in Instagram followers. The second giveaway, tickets to Cedar Point Halloweekends were given away. As a result, First Federal Lakewood saw a 17.5% growth in followers.
