What I do at RA:

When I started the place, I pretty much got involved in all aspects of the business. New business development was always crucial, I was involved on a higher level with our creative work, and I oversaw the financial aspects of the business. Nowadays with our succession plan in full swing and with Melissa and Austin running the show, I remain involved in select client work, financials, and helping maintain our outstanding company culture. This is a huge part of who we are and why we are different.

What I do in life:

I am a sports junkie. While I live in Florida much of the time now, I still watch almost EVERY Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Cavs game. Being a Cleveland fan is in my blood. I love golf, tennis, and when possible, I love walking with my wife, Robin, and our spoiled dog, Archie, on the beach. I also have two granddaughters now, Lydia and Audrey, who I adore!

Fun facts:

I have written a book about my experience building and running a business for close to four decades. My goal with the book is to help inspire future small business owners. I am proud to say “Make It Fun To Make It Last” is now on Amazon and doing well.

Why I love being a part of the RA team:

I love the everyday challenge of what we do. I have loved it since I started this business and it never gets old to me. At our best we are problem solvers for our clients. No two clients problems are the same, that’s what makes this fun and should never change. Also, I love the people. Over the years I have met unbelievable people — both clients and team members — and many have turned into great friends. Our current team is awesome!
